Moments of relative calm on a Tihar morning in Durbarmarg and New Road, Kathmandu's otherwise endlessly busy commerce centers. This year, Tihar, the annual Hindu 'festival of lights', is celebrated between from the 26th to the 30th of October.

Its different to celebrate such festivals being away from home and home land.
