Machi - Following the Ninth interviewee, Machi, shares his account of the resistance as a revolutionary fighter against the 1973 Pinochet dictatorship. He was in the midst of medical school when he was imprisoned and tortured by the military. He recalls the importance of Beethoven's 9th symphony as a song of protest and solidarity during the dictatorship. Machi is a successful doctor and lives his life as a barefoot advocate in the Southern city of Puerto Montt, Chile.
