In response to official posts that remain vacant, including that of a Vice Chancellor, and the injuries suffered at the hands of police during a sit-in rally on Monday, Tribhuvan University Employees Association has begun its indefinite lockout of TU administration. Associate exams controller Anup Shrestha has assured that he will work with the union to ensure ongoing exams affecting graduate students will continue. Several MP's spoke at the rally, demanding that the government appoint officials immediately to bring an end to anarchy in the universities.
